A free course to empower you with self-defence skills, basic CPR training, and general crime and safety awareness around hijackings, muggings, and other dangerous situations.

Give back to your shul and actively elevate your community’s safety via the SCT Programme, which covers security awareness, operational theory and practice.

Keep your children safe by volunteering on your school’s security team. The PCT Programme covers security awareness, practice and operational theory.

Theoretical and practical training will qualify you to volunteer in the CSO 24/7 Control Room on Shabbat, Chaggim, and during community events.

Grade 10+ students can qualify to volunteer in the 24/7 Control Room with controllers. It’s an opportunity to give back, develop critical thinking skills, and learn to stay calm under pressure.

Community members over the age of 15 can be equipped with adult, child and infant CPR and choking training, and learn how to use an Automated External Defibrillator.

1 session, 2-3 hours.

Resuscitation Council of SA Certificate. Earn 1000 Discovery Vitality points.

A must-do course that empowers your childminder with CPR, choking and the first aid skills needed to handle an incident or emergency involving babies and children.

For healthcare professionals and personnel who require CPR and basic cardiovascular life support skills, in a variety of in-facility and pre-hospital settings.
Commitment:
1 session, 5 hours.

American Heart Association Accredited 2 Year Certification. Earn CPD points: 10 clinical points and 1 ethical point

We offer bursaries for students wishing to become full-time paramedics and then join the CSO team on completion of their studies. Eligible courses include the Diploma in Emergency Medical Care (ECT) or the Bachelor of Emergency Medical Care (ECP). For more info, contact bursaries@csocape.org.za.
